Take Off!

After a very exciting morning and afternoon, Marlana flew out of O'Hare Airport on United Airlines on April 8th at 6:03 p.m. and landed in Paris, France on April 9th at 9:25 am, Paris time. She took a train from Charles deGaulle airport to the hostel they are staying at on the Rue de la Fontaine au Roi. (Doesn't that sound so cool? lol - $25.00 a night in Paris for it sounds even cooler!)
She will meet up with Ashley, who also arrived safely from her bus trip from northern Spain. (For those who don't know...Ashley is the daughter of my friend, Donna who I have known since high school. She is in her third year at U of IL and is doing a semester of foreign studies in northern Spain.)
It is 50 there and cloudy but not raining!
I am sure they have had a Fabulous day!
They will be in Paris until they leave for Venice Tuesday night.

More to come. Aur Revoir, V

Hey Buddy!

I am SO psyched that you are getting this chance to get overseas. I know it's been a dream for a while. I'm so glad you got this shot to live it out and go. I can't wait to hear of "all the adventures you'll have".
